Giulio Marino · iOS Developer

I build iOS apps.
And explore how they look, feel and work.

Apps, concepts & a little curiosity

Some projects started at the Apple Developer Academy.
Others started with something I wanted to make for myself.

Apps & concepts.
Over the years.

Team projects from the Academy, interface concepts made in Sketch, and personal experiments. Different ideas, different ways of bringing them to life.

The person behind Marinofolio

I’m Giulio.
Here’s my story.

I’m Giulio Marino,
from Naples, Italy.

My work brings together production iOS apps and personal projects, with an interest in how an idea becomes something people can use.

I studied design principles at the Apple Developer Academy in 2017–2018. That experience gave me a foundation I’ve continued to build on through practice: exploring UX, creating interface concepts in Sketch, and learning independently along the way.

Marinofolio brings those different parts of my work together, from early concepts to The Expert, an app I designed, developed and released myself.

Beyond the code

What moves me.

01 / MUSIC

Swift in my projects
and my playlist.

I’m a Swiftie, and music is one of my biggest passions. With The Expert, I brought that enthusiasm into a party game to play with friends.

A little pop in the process.

02 / UX & INTERFACES

Thinking through
the experience.

I enjoy exploring how an app should feel, how people move through it, and how an interface can make an idea easier to understand. Sketch is where many of my concepts begin.

From a sketch to a screen.
03 / VIDEO EDITING

Finding the rhythm
in an edit.

I also enjoy video editing in Final Cut: arranging images, pacing a sequence, and shaping a story through cuts and sound.

Images, cuts, and a sense of timing.
